The number of wedding chapels in Las Vegas is outrageously large. Beautiful views, open bars and opulent dresses are sure to be seen in wedding season in Sin City. But if you’re interested in something a little more…unusual…check out our 7 Off The Wall Wedding Venues in Las Vegas
Do you believe that you love your partner as much as you love a well priced breakfast, lunch or dinner? If so, you might be ready to tie the knot at Denny’s in Las Vegas. That’s right, for a very fair $199 you can have what they refer to as, “the best union since pancakes and syrup.” For your money you’ll get a lot, including a bouquet and boutonniere, a wedding officiant, a wedding pancake puppies cake, a champagne toast, two wedding t-shirts and two Grand Slam vouchers (for use on your next visit).
The Neon Museum was founded in 1968 and has a special section for private events called the Neon Boneyard North Gallery. The North Gallery is filled with old Vegas signage, lots of fun vintage feels and and perfection for a unique Las Vegas wedding. The Boneyard North Gallery will run anywhere from $450-$750 depending on how many guests you decide to invite. You can add a 30 minute photo shoot to your wedding package but heads up – the officiant and any flowers are going to be up to you.
Marriage is, if nothing else, a rollercoaster. So why not take that literally, have a good sense of humor about things and get hitched at 67 mph on the New York New York Rollercoaster? The coaster’s wedding package includes an officiant and souvenir photographs are available to those who want them (who wouldn’t) !? However, keep in mind that because the coaster is outside your wedding date is subject to weather, so make sure you either have a flexible schedule or a back-up plan.
This next one is a bit macabre, but also likely the most off the wall of all the wedding locations. At the Bally’s hosted Real Bodies Exhibit, partners can be united in the “What Becomes of Us” hallway, an ossuary style chapel featuring skulls and bones on the wall. No confirmation on whether or not they, like in the rest of the Real Bodies Exhibit, are genuine human remains – but why wouldn’t they be? As close to an indoor graveyard wedding you goths are going to get.
Maverick Helicopters are known for the above average lengths they go to. These helicopter tours can take you over the Las Vegas strip at night, or you could choose to have your nuptials on the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead tour. You can even fly over and land at the Grand Canyon. This elevated experience will cost participants anywhere from $1,099 to $4,299 depending on location and time.
This chilly option is truly different than most wedding venues. At an actual minus 5 degrees fahrenheit, you’re handed a warm coat as you walk in the door. And you are going to need it, trust us! Minus 5 can accommodate you, your partner and up to 500 of your closest friends and family. The restaurant has catering packages, can create custom ice sculptures and even books bands for events. If you like vodka drinks and big fuzzy coats Minus 5 is going to tick a lot of your boxes.
At the Mob Museum you can marry in the former courthouse where actual gangsters were tried and (sometimes) brought to justice back in the day. All ceremonies are 20 minutes long and packages increase in price and luxury according to your budget. Added features include photographers, passed appetizers, buffets, receptions, dj booking, flasks, fedoras and more. A really thematic choice for those who prefer their wedding party be photographed like they’re in a police lineup.
