Las Vegas Breakfast 420 Friendly

Wakey Wakey, Eggs and Bakey

Breakfast – the most important meal of the day and the one we can often forget. When you’re in Las Vegas you are sure to be doing some partying, so make sure to treat your body right and eat a good breakfast, whenever it is you wake up. We’ve collected our 6 Favorite Breakfast Spots in Sin City – take a look and try them out.

  1. Eggslut

If it wasn’t obvious from the name, Egglsut is centered around the incredible, edible egg. Inspired by “a true love for eggs,” this restaurant features every kind of egg sandwich you can imagine. Two favorites are the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich and the Egg Salad with honey mustard aioli. All of their eggs are locally sourced and their bread is delivered daily, fresh. If you aren’t in the mood for eggs, you can grab some buttermilk biscuits or a salted chocolate chip cookie instead, which doesn’t sound like the worst way to wake up.

  1. Bardot Brasserie

Bardot Brasserie is an upscale french restaurant that serves a high class french brunch. You can start with a shellfish tower or an order of either East or West coast oysters – or both! King crab crêpes, foie gras parfait, bleu cheese salad, muscles, a duck confit and croque madame are just a few of the lavish offerings at this culinary gem. Plus, there are cocktails or even “everlasting rose” for those who prefer a some libations with their morning meal – and who doesn’t! Bardot Brasserie is going for a 1920’s french cafe feel and they hit that nail on the head, very hard.

  1. Mama’s Breakfast and Lunch

Mr. Mama’s aims to create an atmosphere “where you feel at home.” The menu has a real diner feel to it with old fashioned buttermilk pancakes – from scratch, omelets, breakfast wraps and french toast. They also serve burgers because let’s face it, in Las Vegas sometimes you sleep through breakfast. Things aren’t fancy at Mr. Mama’s but they are good and budget friendly.

  1. The Henry

Oh, The Henry. Here they put a spotlight on old school style. Staple, healthy options like a breakfast smoothie, oats or pastries and fruit are available, as well as french toast, belgian waffles, benedicts and omelettes. If you have a never ending stomach before 11 am, you can also grab a 12 oz steak and eggs or a chicken fried steak. Don’t forget to grab a drink while you are at The Henry, they are one of the best parts of this spot. With virgin cocktails like the Violet Beauregard (BluPom, lavendar honey and unsweetened ice tea) and the not so virginal Mary Pickford (UV Sriracha Vodka, muddled cucumber and dill, lemon juice, house bloody mary mix), The Henry provides a very unique breakfast experience.

  1. Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro

Thomas Keller is one of the most renowned chefs in the world. Las Vegas is lucky to be home to one of his restaurants, Bouchon Bistro at The Venetian. Even Anthony Bourdain loves this place, he called it “the best restaurant, ever.” But don’t expect anything less than world class because the food at Bouchon Bistro is as elegant as food can get. If smoked salmon with capers and a baguette, poached eggs with smoked pork loin and hollandaise or brioche French toast and Crown maple syrup with sauteed spinach and Lyonnaise potatoes on the side is your idea of breakfast you need to visit Bouchon Bistro, ASAP. Maybe you’ll dine next to Anthony Bourdain!

  1. Bruxie

No breakfast list is complete without a legit place to get good chicken and waffles and if you are in Las Vegas, Bruxie is a must to satisfy those cravings. They source only hormone free chickens and marinate their meat in buttermilk for 24 hours before it is fried. Bruxie offers chicken and waffle sandwiches as well as a variety of other waffle sandwiches (which is a sandwich with a waffle for a bun) like the roasted mushroom and goat cheese waffle sandwich or the burger with waffle bun. They don’t skimp on the desserts here either with dessert waffles, frozen custards and floats with housemade sodas available. They’ve also got $5 shots, so, live it up.
