It can be easy to forget that Las Vegas is neighbors with the Mojave Desert and can have a similar climate. With so much heat and so many (hot) people, Las Vegas is bound to have a few pools to slap on a bathing suit and cool off in when the temperatures climb. We’ve collected some of our favorite places to take a dip in Sin City in our Seven Can’t Miss Las Vegas Pools.
1. The Palms
The Palms Pool and Dayclub is one of the most talked about spots in Las Vegas. It is so well liked that even the natives love it! On the weekends this luxury location gets packed with people and is 21+ on Fridays and Saturdays. Rent a VIP cabana or daybed and relax poolside with bottle service, cocktails and dining with hosting from your personal attendant. Leisure at its finest is alive at The Palms.
2. Bellagio
The Bellagio boasts 5 charming pools and a garden cafe to satisfy your breakfast and lunch cravings as you spend the day unwinding next to your pool of choice. The two largest pools are heated and the remaining three smaller pools will vary in temperature depending on the season. Private cabanas have television, plenty of seating, fresh fruit and snacks, rafts for the pool and a cell phone charging station – so there is no excuse to leave the splendor of the lagoon.
3. Mandalay Bay
The Mandalay Bay Beach may be a fake beach, but it has 2,700 of real sand. The wave pool holds an impressive 1.6 million gallons of water and the Lazy River winds in and out of all the action. Guests may rent cabanas, daybeds, bungalows and villas and can have food delivered from the Beach Bar and Grill for an all inclusive experience. The Mandalay Beach is a perfect cure for when you want to feel the sand between your toes.
4. The Mirage
It is no fantasy, The Mirage Pool is heated and is open all year long. Clean and classy, The Mirage Pool fills up EARLY and can be at capacity before 11 am. An attentive and friendly staff, a full menu and the sheer inability to get in after noon make this place an elusive and enviable pool to be seen enjoying. PLUS you can have a cocktail served in a fresh coconut which seems like a win to us!
5. The Venetian
The Venetian has 10, yes 10, pools on over 1 acre of prime Las Vegas property. If you are looking for a place to park yourself and tan while the kids splash around, they have you covered. If instead you want to relax in an adults only social setting, they have a pool for that too. They even have a vintage style situation called The Aquatic Club. This secluded pool has fancy old timey drinks and is described on the website as “Bespoke in scale and timelessly cool.” Guests of the pools may request poolside spa services such as full body massages or a yoga class. They also offer “Sunscreen shots” for $30, whatever those are.
6. Caesar’s Palace
Aptly named, The Garden of the Gods Oasis is a glorious system of 7 pools. The Garden of the Gods is exclusive and only accessible to guests staying at Ceasar’s Palace or those at another Ceasar’s Entertainment property. Roman architecture is heavily featured at the Temple Pool, the Neptune Pool (best for socializing), the Apollo Pool (best sunbathing), the Jupiter Pool (most secluded), the Fortuna Pool (swim up Blackjack table), the Bacchus Pool (VIP and Invite Only) and the Venus European Pool Lounge (10,000 square feet of pure Oasis). Something for everyone can be found at The Garden of the Gods.
7. The Golden Nugget
Rounding out our very first list of Can’t Miss Las Vegas Pools is The Tank and The Hideout at The Golden Nugget. The Tank is the feature of the main pool open from 9 am until 7 pm. It is well known for its Shark Chute, an enclosed slide three stories high that will take you through the aquatic habitat of over 300 animals, including sharks. The Hideout is the third story pool, for those 21 and up who want a little more privacy.
