420 in the Park
This gathering of cannabis enthusiasts happens every year.
The unofficial event is held on hippie hill in the Golden Gate Park from around 10:30am until dusk.
This year is the first year the event will be sanctioned by the city, which is a huge deal!
The peak time of day to be in attendance is obviously 4:20pm.
The giant smoke out is free to attend and generally if you act in a respectful manner the police will leave you alone.
Last year only five people were arrested, and none of them were for marijuana consumption or possession.
Remember to clean up any garbage you create during the day so everyone can enjoy a clean park!
Keep it 420! Calijuanna
From 1pm to 11:30pm on 4/20 at an unannounced location the Keep it 420 party will happen in San Francisco.
The event location is to be announced the day before the event, but tickets are for sale now.
Ranging in price from $50 to $250 there is a ticket package for everyone.
Free gifts and samples come with every ticket purchase and one lucky winner will win the ultimate 420 gift basket.
Live music, mechanical bulls, and even smoke filled human hamster balls will all be on hand for your entertainment.
2nd Annual 420 Community Gathering
This event will happen from 3:30pm to 7pm on 4/20.
Purchase your tickets soon as space is limited!
The location of this event is also yet to be announced, but will be in Oakland and will be sent to ticket holders 48 hours before the gathering.
Enjoy bbq, a DJ, arts and crafts, and good company.
If you purchase a VIP ticket you will also receive access to medicated bbq food and some free 420 goodies.
The event is 21 and up with valid identification necessary the day of.
This event is hosted by the Hood Incubator, a program that supports the participation of minorities in the cannabis industry.
Katchafire 20 Year Anniversary Tour 420 Show
Don’t miss this concert the evening of 4/20 starting at 8pm.
This 18 and up event will be happening at the New Parish in Oakland.
The all Maori reggae band will be sure to put on a high-energy performance.
Opening for Katchafire will be the equally entertaining Inna Vision.
Inna Vision hails from Maui, Hawaii and brings an authentic reggae experience to every show.
Only $35 in advance and $40 at the door for tickets to this perfect 4/20 reggae filled evening!
Moonalice with Doobie Decibel System
Starting at 7pm on 4/20 this concert hosted at Slim’s in San Francisco is sure to entertain.
This psychedelic, roots-rock band will perform a variety of original music.
With members that have worked with Jerry Garcia, John Fogerty, and John Lee Hooker you know these guys will put on a good show.
Their opening act Doobie Decibel System brings a self-described, “acoustics with tight harmony” feel to show, perfect to start the night off with.
All ages are allowed into this venue, plus, purchase the dinner plus admission ticket to receive a three-course dinner along with the concert.
The 420 Smoke out with San Quinn
The day after 4/20 head to the Back Bar Sofa in San Jose for an evening with local rap legend San Quinn.
He will be performing along with many talented unsigned Bay Area artists.
The evening will be focusing on local and unsigned musical artists, art, and entrepreneurial talent.
This 21 and up event starts at 8pm and doors close at 10:30pm.
Vendors will be attending the show and tickets are only $20.

Mix & Match Paint & Smoke Mixer
Another great event to enjoy the weekend of 4/20 this painting party will be held in Oakland on the 22nd starting at 8:30pm.
Participate in an instructed painting session that will leave you with your own 16×20 masterpiece!
A live DJ and cocktail bar will be part of the night’s festivities.
Feel free to bring your own cannabis for consumption or purchase goodies from the venue.
This 21 and up event is only available to those who purchase tickets ahead of time, no tickets will be available at the door.

This three-day event April 21st to the 23rd will be held at the Cow Palace in San Francisco this year.
