For the eighteenth year in a row, a multitude of ska and reggae artists will take over downtown Victoria for four days of fun. Good music, food, and vendors will all be on hand to complete the experience. Catch Sweetleaf, Keith and Tex, Caleb Hart and the Royal Youths, and Tarrus Riley, among many others. Located at Pfau Pfamily Pfarma this year, Northwest World Reggae Festival is a weekend not to miss. Onsite tent and RV camping will be available throughout the 160-acre venue. With a large outdoor stage and stacked line up you will want to stay as close as possible to MAXIMIZE your weekend enjoyment. Catch Prezident Brown, Kabaka Pyramid, Nattali Rize, De Solution, Newel Briggs, and others over the three days of concerts. This one day music festival focuses on the reggae culture, music, and lifestyle for all ages. Local and global reggae artists will be featured including UB40 featuring Ali, Astro, and Mickey, Fiji, Eli-Mac, Raging Fyah, and eight more headlining acts, with more to be added. In addition to the music there will also be plenty of island food, art and crafts vendors, a tattoo showcase featuring Polynesian artists, and even a rugby 7’s tournament. Also enjoy the island dancers showcase and carnival rides for all ages!

Submerge yourself in the peaceful surroundings of the forest as you enjoy this free, week-long festival. Camping is the center of the festival with tons of music and activities to entertain you throughout your stay. Musical acts to include Jah Militant, Steve and the Vibronics Family, Jah Tool, and Rootikal Warriah. You will also be to participate in story-telling, arts and crafts, a campfire gathering, a chill area, and workshops. This popular festival has been happening since 2009 and most easily accessed by car or motorcycle. There are some buses that travel to the remote area, but only once or twice a day.

Celebrating ten years of love, the One Love Festival will take over Colebrook Lakes in the UK. With artists including U Roy, Capital Letters, and Reggae Regular set to perform it is sure to be a good time. With over 75 acts set to perform, and more being added, it is one of the largest reggae gatherings around. Meet and greets will be available for many artists, so you can mingle with some of your favorites musicians as well! The annual Rastafest in Toronto will feature headliners Kabaka Pyramid and Bushman. Both popular fixtures in the reggae world will lead a reggae filled weekend to remember. The 33rd annual Reggae on the River brings you some of the finest names in reggae. Slightly Stoopid, Sly and Robbie, and Marcia Griffiths will all be performing. Camping is included with most tickets and the whole family is welcome. Kids 12 and under are even free! More than 25 artists and bands will be performing to keep you busy all weekend. But, when you aren’t enjoying the sounds of reggae royalty you can also soak up the sun on the bank of the Eel river.
