What a better way to spend your time high, on vacation, than enjoying the unique flavors in the city of San Diego?

Here, in the sunshine city, you’ll find an amazing selection to “cure” you of, even the most horrible, case of the munchies.

In the list ahead, we will explore food that will not only, make your mouth water, but, also keep you craving JUST ONE MORE bite.

One of my favorite parts of the, overall experience of getting high, is the food.

Even though the food, sober, is amazing, getting high and munching, from some of the San Diego restaurants ahead, will make you realize just how good food can truly be.

To start, if you decide to have a “wake & bake” session, I will treat you with a little secret “Donut Bar” that sell out, every day.

This secret location is called:

1) Donut Bar

Voted as one of the 21 best donut shops in America. Also. Voted #1 by many many sources, including; USA Today, Ellen DeGeneres Show, The View, Conan, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Guilty Pleasures, Food Network, and many more.

A “secret” to finding a place to eat, that has AMAZING food, is to look at the line. If there’s a LONG line to get in, there’s a pretty good chance, the line is long for a reason. And. The reason ISN’T because the food is BAD. How could that be the truth?

Quite literally every time I passed by the Donut Bar, there was a solid line coming out of the door. Definitely worth the wait. If you don’t get there early.

If you want the best donuts, that I know of, this is one of America’s secrets.

Wake and bake, and get in line early. Because. They literally sell out, everyday.

P.s. It’s called a “BAR” because they also have an amazing selection of “breakfast” beers that pairs quite nicely with donuts.

Beer and donuts.

What better way to spent the morning curing your munchies?

Don’t want donuts?

Want a more “well rounded” breakfast to start the day.

No problem.

Your 2nd best option is:

2) Waffle Spot

I don’t need to do TOO much talking this place up.

This place does the job, by itself.

Known for its INCREDIBLE waffles, obviously.

You’re not going to find a better breakfast.

After tasting your first waffle, you’ll be sure to drop pancakes from your diet and focus ONLY on waffles.

3) Hodads’

Looking for a quick lunch and the WORLD’S BEST BURGER?

Big, thick, juicy burgers finished off with fresh toppings, makes these burgers, the most memorable burger you’ll always want, just one more, of.

4) The Fish Market

Since San Diego is a beach town with year round sunshine, you’ll be tempted to try out the famous fresh caught seafood.

An amazing view, overlooking the ocean. Great environment and friendly staff.

With almost 3,000 reviews, on Trip Advisor, giving them a NEAR perfect 5 star score, I don’t believe you’ll find a more appropriate spot to indulge in tasty seafood, caught fresh.

5) Filippi’s Pizza Grotto

Finally, the question you must ask, of EVERY city you visit is.

Who has the best slice of pizza in town?

And the answer is Filippi’s Pizza Grotto.

With over 1,200, near perfect (5 star) reviews, you won’t find a better slice in San Diego.

Tasty food at a great price.

Pizza, seafood, sandwiches, pasta, and amazing desserts.

Ps. Try the cannoli a unique desert that will make you an addict after one bite. 😉

No matter how you choose to “please” your appetite, these 5 food spots will, scratch the itch, the munchies never seem to fully scratch.
